brain is protected by skull

spinal cord is protected by vertebral column

human nervous system consists of receptors,neurons,brain,spinal cord,effector muscles

limitations of nervous system-

it doesen't reach all cells of the body

it takes time to generate new impulse.

1) central nervous system(CNS) which contains brain and spinal cord
2) peripheral nervous system (PNS) which contains nerves

limitation is
electrical impulse created by the nervous cells can reach only those cells which are connected to the nervous tissue
