The brain stem connects the brain with the spinal cord. ... The brain is protected by the bones of the skull and by a covering of three thin membranes called meninges. The brain is also cushioned and protected by cerebrospinal fluid.

Here's ur Answer Mate:-

The Brain is the highest coordinating unit of our body.

•It is protected by a thick bony covering called Cranium(skull). We can say that brain is located within a bony box. The cranium has three layers called meninges.

They have gaps between them which contains cerebrospinal fluid which acts as a shock absorber thus protecting the brain from mild injuries.

This meninges protect the spinal cord also.

Hope it helps uh!
