how ,burning of fuel such as coal, pertrol and diesel leads to acid rain . how is acid rain harmful

because burning these things releases harmful chemicals which gets mixed in atmosphere as well as the clouds which leads to the acid rain

Actually burning of coal , petrol ,and diesel release many acidic gases such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons...

They also leave many acids in their flames ...

This leads to acid rain and it is harmful as it destroys the small plants and saplings which are very needful for pure water and they die within a few days...
