100 grams of CACO3 is required to make 56 grams of CAO and 44 grams of CO2.

CACO3 ---> CAO + CO2

100g 56g 44 g

THIS IS SO BECAUSE THE ATOMIC MASS OF CAO IS 56 GRAMS. HENCE, MASS OF CACO3 USED WILL BE 100 g. (because cao has 56 gram atomic mass which proves that the weight of caco3 used will be same as it's atomic mass).
