Heya.
The calculation of percentage is very easy. To calculate the percentage, there is a simple formula, that is...
PART/TOTAL X 100.
In other words, to calculate the percentage first you should divide the part by total and then multiply it by 100.
Let's take an example.....
In the final exam of MATHS, you got 45 marks out of 50. Now, you want to calculate the percentage of marks obtained. So by using above formula of obtaining percentage, we can get .....
= 90%.
HOPE YOU GOT IT........

Heya,
Percentage is the rate or proportion per 100.
To calculate percentage,
P% = X/Y × 100
where,
P= Percentage
X = Certain part of number
Y = Total number
Let's take a example to make it more clear.
"Anu answered 10 MCQ questions out of 80."
So find the percentage.
P% = X/Y × 100
where,
P = Percentage
X = Number of questions answered
Y = Total number of questions
So,
P% = 40/80 × 100
P% = 40/8 × 10
P% = 5 × 10
P% = 50%
So hope you are clarified. Still having doubt then let me know :)
