desert plant also makes it own food with the help of photosynthesis in them their is a special arrangement of their body structure that in them transpiration loss is less as compare to the other plants for this they undergo CAM photosynthesis in them they take co2 at night and convert it into four carbon mallate and then during day they transported to cjloroplast where it changes into co2 back and then further used up in the process of photosynthesis
so, requirements are fulfilled by them of photosynthesis and they are also able to make their own food.
