Answer

Camouflage is defined as to hide or disguise yourself. Camouflage is when you dress in certain colours so you will blend in with your environment.

Many camouflaged rainforest animals, such as walking stick insects which look just like a tree branch and the slow-moving, green algae-covered sloths that hang from trees and blend in with their environment, use camouflage to avoid predators.

For example:

Chameleon can change its skin colour according to its surrounding to escape from it's enemy and this is called camouflag.

And this change is called.....

temporary \: change

Hope it helps you

Some animals and reptiles use camouflage to help them blend into their environment so they go undetected. Some reptiles can even change colors, but most of them -- like many animals in the rainforest -- are colored to blend into a specific background.
