Information and Communication Technology have generated profound changes in human society. These are quite different from social transformations caused by earlier scientific advances. Bangladesh has placed poverty alleviation on the top of its development agenda. It is here that ICT has a critical role to play. ICT has been declared as the thrust sector by the Government.

The government of Bangladesh is considering aggressively to move into e-governance for providing all needed information to citizens and for efficient and transparent services and to create an information environment and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, dynamism in public agencies and to ensure accountability. The government has announced many digital services in Bangladesh. List of Digital Government services are given below:

The Government has taken various steps in the ICT sector. E-governance is the next step in driving the Digital Bangladesh engine forward. The government is proactively pursuing the digitalization of all government portals, such as –

Technology based services serves a variety of purposes and means different things to different people. From the local convenience store to the local delivery shop, technology makes the world function more efficiently. There is no debating that technology-based services have become integral part in our daily lives. Technology has developed a field of communication, medical treatment, transportation, entertainment and many other different aspects of our life.
