Uniform circular motion repeats itself in equal intervals of time...
Also,there is a centripetal acceleration which acts towards the centre....
In simple harmonic motion also, periodically repetition occur and the object is pulled towards the origin....
Therefore,a uniform circular motion is a simple harmonic motion...
