Symbiotic relationship between algae and fungi is called Lichen.

Algae and fungi get benefit from each other as algae provide food to fungi and fungi provide water to algae. This way they both get nutrition for survival.

Algae and fungi show symbiotic relationship which means they both are beneficial to each other.

In this relationship algae (cyanobacteria)  prepare food for fungi through the process called photosynthesis & fungi provide shelter to it.

Lichen is the symbiotic relationship of algae and fungi.
