how can ammeter and voltmeter are connected in a circuit? explain why.

a voltmeter is connected in parallelto measure the voltage. An ammeter is used to measure the current flowing through a component/circuit. Since, current remains same in seriesconnection and also the resistance of an ammeter is very small due to which it doesn't affect the current to be measured.

because in series current are same and potential difference are divide

and

in parallel potential difference are same but current divide
