Here is the the reactive series of metal in decreasing order.From this ,it is obvious that Zn is more reactive than Cu.
See this displacement reaction--->
Zn+CuSO4--->ZnSO4+Cu.
Here Zn metal displaces copper from copper sulphate soln.This is because Zn is more reactive than copper.
Thus this chemical reaction can be used to prove this statement

here's ur answer:-
when a zinc metal piece is added to copper sulphate(CuSO4)solution(blue in color) it becomes colourless and reddish brown particles settle down in the beaker. this shows displacement of copper from CuSO4(aq) by zinc metal.
on the other hand ,addition of copper (Cu) pieces do not cause any change in ZnSO4 solution i.e., there is no displacement of Zn is more reactive than copper.
