There are many solutions to prevent echo.. Ideally you should have absorptive materials on a minimum of one side of two parallel surfaces. Example use carpet if there is no absorptive ceiling installed. There are also acoustic modular wall panels available in the market & just a few stand alone panels installed non - parallely will make a difference.
