How can be balance a chemical equation step by step explanation.
Answers
Answer:
for balancing a chemical chemical equation the mass of reactants
must be equal on both sides of the equation and the atoms are also equal on both sides of the equation
for example :
2Na + Cl2 = 2NaCl , in left hand side the atoms of na=2 and on right hand side the atoms of na = 2 and the atoms of cl on both sides = 2
left hand side = right hand side
so it is a balanced equation
Explanation:
example :- Ca(OH)2 + HCl = CaCl2 + H2O
so now I am balancing it
ca =2 times
OH (hydroxide ) =2 times
cl = 2 times
h= 2 times
now see ,
Ca(OH)2 it will remain same because there is already 2 times calcium
2HCl = cl and h becomes 2 now
then,
CaCl2 it will remain same too
2H2O I have also made h 2 here
Ca(OH) 2 + 2 HCl = CaCl2 +H2O
now it is balanced
