how can be hatching of eggs is done artificially

So i found some eggs today laying on the substrate and i thought i would try to hatch the eggs myself.

I used a tea stainer and put it underneath my sponge filter so it would constantly get new water, keep them moving and get oxygen.
I was wondering if something like this would work?
Also do i still need to spray the eggs daily with water?
