Individually:
- Stop imagining that becoming a great nation is our manifest destiny. It is not. We might become a civil war torn, diseased, rotten nation just as easily.
- Become really good at what we do, whatever it may be. Excellence is a rare Indian quality.
- Put personal development ahead of waiting for everything else to improve.
- Follow the rules even if others around do not.
- Get out of a slave mentality or a victim mindset.
- Not ask, "What will I get out of this?" each time something needs to be done.
- Unload the needless burden of patriotism.
- Unload completely useless pride in everything "Indian".
- Learn to stand in line, and stop seeking/expecting anything out of turn.
- Stop treating public property as worthless junk to be peed, spat and defecated on.
- Understand the real meaning of rank 136 on the Human Development Index.
Collectively:
- Learn to appreciate the good work done by others.
- Learn not to stand in the way of others' progress.
- Stop wasting time, and respect others' time.
- Stop forming mobs against convenient victims.
- Stop seeing cunning as intelligence.
- Stop spreading rumours.
- Make the system work, or work to change it till it does.
- Stop expecting leaders to be magicians.
- Stop buying into superstition, dogma and religious nonsense.
- Learn the importance of a happy nation, over a powerful one.
I hope it will help you
