How can calculate running capacitor in single phase motor?

One way is to measure with a Farad meter ( Capacitor should be discharged). Second way, if we know the AC Voltage across and the current flowing through it, then we can determine the Reactance Xc=1/2xpixfxC. Xc=V/I and so C can be calculated in milli Farads or Micro Farads.
