how can copper chloride can react wit HCL to displace Hydrogen

Copper lie below the hydrogen in the reactivity series of the metals, so it cannot displace hydrogen from its salt solution.Thus, Copper chloride does not reacts with Hydrogen chloride (either acid or gas). The reaction will not be occurred and the state of equilibrium will exist.
