There are two types of crops:-

1-Rabi crop:- Crops which are grown during winter season i.e October and November and are harvested at the end of the winter season i.e March and April are classified as Rabi Crop

Eg:- barley, mustard, sesame and peas,wheat alfalfa,coriander,mustard,fenugreek,isabgol

2-Kharif Crop:-Crops are sown at the beginning of monsoon i.e  May to July and harvested at the end of the monsoon i.e  September to October

Explanation:

Crop products are classified mainly according to the type of crop. ... The crop classification refers to which crops are grown, whereas the product classification refers to the product(s) generated from that crop. Thus, “mustard” is an oilseed crop, whereas “mustard seed” is the oilseed product.
