Explanation:

Developing the war effected areas,

providing financial support and teaching life skills are all fine. But the hardest part is to heal the wounds of lot of people throughout the country. The new generation doesn’t have much of ethnic problems. If you go to college or university usually in a clique you’ll find youngsters of both ethnics. But every family has some distant or close connection to war.

The families of the soldiers who had lost them altogether or with lost limbs or hands suffer a lot. Or the families who had been simply victims of war, their lives had been normal and hundred percent happy until somebody dropped a bomb shell on their heads. So such people’s mind state is something hard to cure. The government can’t go to every affected victim’s house and provide emotional support. sitting on the sofa and commenting about the television news is the easiest job in the whole world. I won’t blame the government. I think that the government is doing their best. Sri Lanka faces a huge number of problems right now. Solving them clean in a flash is impossible. It’s just that the media seems to have suddenly found their voice and is pointing out all faults and mistakes of the government. But I think to solve all these issues, we normal citizens should take part as much as possible. We can provide all the emotional support and assure them they are not alone in this world. It’s not that hard. Even if we can’t afford to give donations. Helping them to find jobs and being a good companion could soothe them. All these people have seen a lot of destruction and pain. Forgetting them and moving on is not that easy. It may take some time for them to understand that both parties are innocent and it’s the war mongers we should blame. If we all could help then we can actually solve it
