Solar panels are devices that convert light into electricity. They are called "solar" panels because most of the time, the most powerful source of light available is the Sun, called Sol by astronomers. Some scientists call them photo voltaics which means, basically, "light-electricity."
Due to geological changes , the molten rocks formed in the deeper hot regions are pushed upwards and trapped in certain regions called hotspots.
When the underground water comes in contact with the hotspots steam is generated
Sometime the water finds outlet at the surface . These outlets are known as hot springs .
The steam trapped in the rocks is routed through the pipes to a turbine to generate electricity
