ways:

(a). By heating sodium chloride (NaCl) with concentrated H2SO4.

The gas (HCl) produced is dried by passing it into conc. H2SO4

H2SO4(aq) + NaCl(s) → NaHSO4(s), + HCl(g)

The above reaction will also occur in the cold state - Laboratory preparation.

Hydrochloric acid is prepared by dissolving hydrogen chloride in water. Hydrogen chloride can be generated in many ways, and thus several precursors to hydrochloric acid exist. The large-scale production ofhydrochloric acid is almost always integrated with the industrial scale production of other chemicals.
