 <b > we know that cos(30) = √3/2
 &lt;b &gt; therefore 50 cos(30)² = <br />50 × (√3/2)²
 &lt;b &gt; = 50 ( √3/2 × √3/2 )
 &lt;b &gt; = 50 × 3/4
 &lt;b &gt; = 150/4
 &lt;b &gt; = 75/2 or 37.5
