How can I differentiate between quantitative and qualitative information?

Qualitative data is DESCRIPTIVE, while quantative data deals with NUMERICAL information. An example of this would be the mass of coper ore is 25.7 g (quantitative). The sky is blue is a fact and is non-numerical (qualitative).
