product of roots=C/a
hence let be 1 root
other is 6m
product
6m×m=8/p
6 {m}^{2}  =  \frac{8}{p}
now sum of roots =-b/a
7m=14/p
m=2/p
put in 1
 \frac{24}{ {p}^{2} }  =  \frac{8}{p}  \\ p = 3
