Heya !!!
This is your answer......
To check whether a user has blocked you or not, you should go to his profile and click on msg icon.
If you are able to send messages, then he/she has not blocked you.
If he/she has blocked you then you will not be able to open message box. It will say that "You can't send messages now".
In website, it will show "Oops! Seems like this user doesn't want to receive messages from you anymore.".
