How can I prepare homemade diluted iodine . I having one Idea that is with the help of Dettol antiseptic or tincture iodine these two are iodine . by adding a few drops of it in a test tube and half filled with water​

Answer: Dissolve KI in about 20-30 ml of distilled water. Add iodine and heat gently with constant mixing until iodine is dissolved. Dilute to 100 ml with distilled water. Store in amber glass-stoppered bottle in the dark
