motion can actually never get finished in case of any system. because sometimes though for the observer of the system and even for the observer outside the system the motion may have finished or the body might have come to rest but yet the body is on Earth due to which it is on a continuous circular motion as well as a Revolutionary motion. hence although we might consider ourselves to be at rest at certain point ,but yet at any random point on the basis of the observer and also on the basis of considering earth as observed. We Are Never on rest and motion never stops
