How can I separate the ionic liquid with dehydrated aldol product?

During an aldol reaction, I have found that both ionic liquid and dehydrated product are coming together. Product is showing its characteristic peak in UV but in NMR ionic liquid has highest intensity. How can I separate the product with ionic liquid?

I am fully agree with Boyan and Rashi, if your product is a liquid, you can distill it off and your IL will remain behind. Or if it is solid, then as rashi said, just choose a solvent which can dissolve either your product or your IL alone. Moreover, if your product and IL are similar in nature, then try to precipitate your product using combination of the solvents along with cooling. I hope this would work...

Answer:

⏯️Is your ionic liquids hydrophobic or hydrophilic......... Let make it clear first............. After that choose solvent in which only ionic liquids can come out not your product or vice versa
