Answer:

Reading books is just an aspect of learning and gain knowledge in particular subject. It helps to gain subject knowledge but only reading books will not make a person scientist or economist or historian. A person should involve observing, thinking and doing experimental activities to reach his goal.

Explanation:

Reading many books of the subject is not the only aspect that will make one scientist , an economist, a historian . Because by reading one will only get knowledge about theories but until and unless it is not practised in real life , one will not understand the what is actually happening.

The first and the foremost criteria to become a genius in one's chosen field is to have great curiosity and unending hunger to discover more. Next criteria is a sense of closely observing the things which further helps you to correlate your findings with what you see or experience in the real world.

As advocated by the author, a first-rate mind, curiosity, and the will to win for the right reasons are the perfect ingredients tomake a scientist, an economist or historian. Reading is only an aspect of learning. It pleases the curiosity partially. A lot of reading may provide information but to reach a conclusion a person must possess good observation skills to have a pragmatic analysis of the same. So, we can say that to become a scientist, an economist or a historian a person should be a good observer and thinker. He should definitely perform experiments to test the hypotheses.
