Weight of the Earth is approximately 6×10^24 kg. Because we know the radius of the Earth, we can use the universal law of gravitation given by Newton to calculate the mass of theearth in terms of the gravitational force on an object ( its weight ) at theearth's surface using the radius ofearth as the distance.

Hope this helps!

kalpavalli: what if nothing is known to you... like what if have not calculated the radius yet and still if you have to estimate the weight how can you?
Candice22: Then you probably need the volume and density of the planet to determine mass and radius. You cannot find Earth's weight is absolutely nothing is given.
kalpavalli: ok fine thank you
Candice22: you're welcome!!

we know,
weight=mass×gravity
Using this formula we can find weight of any object...however weight of earth is 6×10^24
