How can people use the RTI act to collect information about environment?

On behalf of RTI we can ask government, social authorities, high courts & policymakers about the work towards environment, animal welfare & forest conservation. We can make them more accountable & answerable to public. If they are not doing well for protection & preservation of environment then we can use this tool of RTI to put pressure to perform & to take swift actions. If we get information of data & reports on environment crime rate, wildlife hazards & budget allocated by government for environment then we put all this details in knowledge of common public. I think all this can force government to take necessary measurement if they not doing on time or lacking behind from their targets.
