How can petroleum gas be compressed a lot and filled in cylinders?

LPG is petroleum vapour and boils at about minus 30 depending on the exact mixture in the cylinder. Like all vapours (This includes most gases) if we increase the pressure we can compress the gas and it becomes liquid. ... Compressing it into liquid is a much better and more efficient method of storage.
