INTRODUCTION:

Plants are called as producers or autotrophs , because they can only perform photosynthesis process.

Photosynthesis is the process by which living plant cells containing chlorophyll ,produce food substances (glucose and starch)from carbon dioxide and water by using light energy.

Yes, proteins and fats obtained through photosynthesis.

1.All plants need nitrogen for its normal growth (for protein formation)especially in leguminous plants (need nitrogen in abundant amount) .

This nitrogen helps plants for protein formation and when animals or humans eats these plants ,animals proteins are synthesized.

2.Carbon is needed for the formation of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, etc with the help of the process called photosynthesis.

If animals or humans eats these plants they supply us proteins and fats ,in turn in our body used as energy source, for body building, builds up immune system etc.
