how can rain play a spoilsport in camping trip?explain with the reference of 3 men in a boat

- The rain dampens all the things. The tent is fixed somehow. Being soaked it is heavy and soon it tumbles down . To fix a wet tent is a Herculean/difficult task. It creates tension between the people who are fixing it. When one fixes it at one point,it tumbles down at the other point and the persons fixing it get engaged in a lot argument blaming each other for not fixing it properly. With great efforts the tent is fixed up . Then it becomes difficult to make a wood fire and there is no choice but to light the methylated spirit stove .
- Rainwater is the chief article of diet at supper. All the eatable articles are water soaked. The jam,butter ,the salt and the coffee,all get combined with water to make a delicious soup .
- After supper one cannot enjoy puffs of tobacco because it is damp. Only friend is a bottle that cheers and inebriates. Then one goes to bed but remains restless. The entire tent is blown down.
They catch cold and quarrel with one another during the whole of breakfast time. In this way, the rain plays a spoilsport
