how can sand be separated from water?
Answers
Filtration is the process which can be used to seperate sand from water. First, the mixture is kept undisturbed in a beaker. Then, the mixture is slowly poured into another beaker having a filter fixed in its mouth, the filter collects the the sand and let's only the pure water to go in the 2nd beaker and thus, sand is seperated from water.
Answer:
By filtration method
Explanation:
For applying filtration method first we have to go through the sedimentation & decantation method for which a water is left for sometime to let the sand particles to settle down at the bottom of the container and after that the water is poured into another empty container and then taking a filter or sand paper, separating funnel, and a container for the process of filtration. The filter paper is put into the funnel which makes the water being filtrate properly and then it passes through the funnel as a pure water. And sand gets separated through the process.
