Slash and Burn is also called as Shifting Agriculture. It is type of agriculture which involves cutting and burning of plants.It can be eco - friendly as we are not using any harm products while doing this process. After the land is burnt it is left for 1 to 2 years , so that the land could regain it's lost fertility .In this way , this process is Environment friendly.
