soil can get affected due to deforestation because plant helps the soil to get tightly closed while in absense of plants it may loosen and can get erossed through a powerful storm or flowing water .
the strong wind may also cause replacement of top soil from one place to another though the top soil is the fertile soil so it shouldn't be good for agriculture also.
