Today, renewable energy accounts for close to 19 percent of the total energy consumed across the world from sources such as hydro, solar, wind, geo-thermal and bio-mass energy. Renewable energy is quickly gathering momentum due to technological advancements as well as increased demand for energy that is affordable and green.
