- And bring it near a compass since we know a compass always points towards north and has certain magnetic field in it, the change in the arrow of compass would mean it has another magnetic field acting near it.
- And this is the thing that happens when we bring a current carrying conductor near the compass which tells us that the conductor has an acting magnetic field around it.
