There are two phases of this thing - 
1. before vote 
 in this you check whether your MP/MLA has any criminal charges or not.
 how much is he educated and what is his record in last elections .
 how much is his liability etc.
 
For doing the above thing you can go to the link
Information from National Election Watch 
 or can go to election commission official website , although the first one is easier.

2. after vote
after the vote according to the present scenario of our judiciary system it is a bit difficult to keep an eye on them  , and even if you are going to find out that they are not working properly , the maximum you can do is to complain ( not sure whether they will write it or not)

even then if you want to find out then you                                                    can go through social audits  (assuming it happen in your constituency) or you can directly file an RTI .

PS- precaution is better than cure ,so it will be better if we check about our MP/MLA first and then vote rather than voting first and then keeping an eye (especially in present scenario).
