When we change the any of the four, speech style, speech context, speech act and communicative strategy, it affects the language a lot. It gives a completely different impression to the listener and changes the duration of interaction considerably.

Answer:
Many times the sudden change in communicative strategy among two people or a group, is when someone butts in and the communication is lost—ended abruptly. I’ve noticed people doing this from my childhood. It happens regularly and it shouldn’t. Intelligent people should allow communication to be completed between two people before answering to a third person interrupting the conversation.
