The writer of the story,"Mrs Packletide Tiger"exposes human greed and vanity through a character named Packletide whose movement and motives are governor by disgust and disapproval for her arch rival Loone Bimberton. So when loona Bimberton gained popularity because she was flown eleven miles in an airplane by a pilot from algaria with a personally produced tiger skin, she had been bragging about it all the time andar Packletide made a plan to belittle her by killing a old and feeble tiger safely without too much effort, for which she have to pay latter by her nose.
