For series combination :-

R = R1 + R2 + R3

R = 2 + 2 + 2

R = 6 ohm

For parallel combination :-

 \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  =  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>1}  +  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>2}  +  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>3}  \\  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  =  \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \frac{1}{</strong><strong>R</strong><strong>}  =  \frac{3}{2}  \\ </strong><strong>R</strong><strong> =  \frac{2}{3}  \\ </strong><strong>R</strong><strong> = 0.67 \: ohm
