For 1 ohm

1/Rp = 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/6 = 3/6 + 2/6 +1/6 =6/6 = 1

∴ Rp = 1 ohm

For 4 ohm

1/Rp= 1/3 + 1/6 =2/6 + 1/6 = 3/6 =  1/2

∴ Rp = 2 ohms

Rs = 2+2 = 4 ohms
