Answer:

Given :

Three resistor of resistance 2 Ω ,3 Ω and 6 Ω .

We have connect each in such way that we get  total resistance of 4 ohm and 1 ohm .

For 4 ohm :

First  2 Ω connecting in series and other two in parallel .

1 / r  [ 1 / 3 + 1 / 6 ]

1 / r = [ 1 / 2 ]

r = 2  Ω

Total Resistance = r + R

Total Resistance = 2 + 2  Ω

Total Resistance = 4  Ω  .

For 1 Ω :

Connecting all resistors in parallel :

1 / R = 1 / 2 + 1 / 3 + 1 / 6 Ω

1 / R = 3 + 2 + 1 / 6 Ω

1 / R = 6 / 6 Ω

1 / R = 1 Ω

R = 1 Ω .

Hence we get answer .
