We can made a chemical equation more informative by adding some factors :-

  • By adding the State of reactants or products.

Ex:-

2Na (s) + H2 (g) => 2NaH (g)

  • By adding the aqueous or dillute when the solution or reaction takes places in water.
  • The precipitate is represented by adding the down arrow near the reactants.
  • The evolution of gas is represented by adding up arrow near the product.
  • The change of heat can be added if the reaction is either exothermic or endothermic.
  • You can also add the rate of reaction by adding slow or fast.
  • By adding useful factors which control the reaction like temperature, catalyst, pressure etc.

These are the common information used in making the chemical equation more informative.
