plants play a vital and important role in maintaining balance between oxygen and carbon-dioxide.plants take co2 from atmosphere in the process of photosynthesis for making their food and therefore release oxygen but, if we cut the trees this balance is disturbed by cutting the trees.photosynthesis is done only by plants.
