Answer: sue was just a friend or roommate who was accompanied by johnsy. When johnsy was arrested by pneumonia it was sue who helped her throughout. She took good care of her. When johnsy had made up her mind that she will not get cured it was sue who encouraged her. And so she was a true and caring friend of her.
