how can voice of the people can be heard by the parliament or goverment

via politicians the member of legislative assembly i.e the representatives elected by the people (us).but nowadays in social media such as Twitter Facebook etc. people's problems can be easily conveyed to the government.and many politicians such as Mrs. Sushma Swaraj are solving the problems of people via social networks.
